The acreage estate at 454 Cherry Gardens Rd has hit the market without a price guide.

Madelyn and John Duckmanton bought the property 25 years ago, attracted by the opportunity to keep their agisted horses on their own land, and sink their teeth into a grand renovation of a 1930s home.

“It wasn’t what we were looking for, but everything just spoke to us,” Mrs Duckman says.

“It was in a really raw condition and we’ve spent 25 years renovating it – it’s been rewired, replumbed and reconfigured and it’s incredible now, as are the gardens.

“We’re having my brother’s wedding here soon and we’ve had my daughter’s wedding here, my nephew’s engagement and two nephews’ weddings here.
