96 Victoria Rd, Bellevue Hill has sold for about $43m

EverBlu Capita founder Adam Blumenthal and his wife Annabelle Shamir have sold their Bellevue Hill trophy home to Monaco-based expats in a late-night deal for about $43m.

The six-bedroom, five-bedroom mansion at 96 Victoria Rd was listed just three weeks ago in an expressions of interest campaign with a $45m guide via Ray White Double Bay’s Ashley Bierman and Elliott Placks with Pillinger’s Brad Pillinger.

Independent sources say it’s now sold for about $43m, with buyer’s agent Simon Cohen representing the purchasers.

He wasn’t available to comment on their identity, but the sources advise they’re entrepreneurs Olivia Skuza and Heath Wells who will return to Australia in the New Year.

The couple are co-CEOs of e-commerce platform NuORDER.

Though the price is below the lofty guide, it’s still a nifty profit for the savvy couple who’d paid $30m just three years ago in 2021.

They’d bought the 1492sq m prestige pad from luxury home flipper Stephanie Conley-Buhre and venture capitalist Oskar Buhre, who in turn had paid property investor Richard Scheinberg $17.1m for it in 2018.

For the recent Wentworth Courier House of the Week, Bierman said: “It’s a privilege to bring this house to market, everyone who’s owned it has gone on to purchase incredible trophy homes in the east, so it’s quite the good luck house in that respect.”

The Conley-Buhres went on to buy nearby Alcooringa, which they recently flipped for a $50m profit and Scheinberg upgraded to the exclusive Rona estate for $58m.

Over two expansive levels, with a self-contained guest apartment, the grand dame features a long list of entertaining spaces inside and out.

The home was previously owned by luxury home flipper Stephanie Conley-Buhre.

Conley-Buhre had done the incredible reno.

Bierman had hinted at the time that the property may not be long on the market.

“This home has been touted off-market for a period of time, and we’ve got some interest.

“We felt that it was probably the right time to put it on the market, with that interest bubbling.

“These homes are very appealing to the expat market and international buyers right now,” Bierman had added.

The sale comes just three months after the couple sold their Rose Bay penthouse for about $14.9m, down from the $18m they’d hoped for when it was first listed a year ago.
