A Hawthorn home straight out of a time capsule is still listed for sale after it was passed in at its auction on Saturday.
The heritage-listed, four-bedroom house at 7 Findon St has been owned by the same family for about 55 years and is in original condition.
Initially listed with a $1.9m-$2.1m price guide, it now has a single asking value of $2.1m after it was passed in at its auction.

Jellis Craig Boroondara director Richard Winneke said when you walked inside the house, it was like stepping back into the 1930s or 40s.
He added that the home was a good opportunity for the next owner to renovate and modernise it.
One of the standout rooms is the formal dining area with red wallpaper and plush carpets.
The checkered entrance hallway breaks off into two bedrooms and the lounge and dining areas, while at the rear of the house, there’s a study, sitting room, living space, kitchen and two other bedrooms.
Iron fretwork, arched hallways and soaring ceilings are consistent features throughout the abode.
The sprawling property spans about 620sq m.
After it was passed in at $1.885m at its auction on Saturday which gathered about 50 spectators, Mr Winneke said the residence would go back onto the market with a single price of $2.1m.
This comes as PropTrack research showed there were 502 homes scheduled to go under the hammer in Victoria this Melbourne Cup weekend, following on from the busiest weekend of auctions this year.
